A Sushi Bar And Japanese Restaurant Is The Newest Addition To Downtown Greenville

Konnichiwa, a sushi bar and Japanese restaurant has recently opened in downtown Greenville, taking over the space formerly occupied by Rick Erwin’s Deli, located at 101 Falls Park Drive.

Rick’s Deli & Market back on January 2nd announced its closure via social media and its website, after ten years in business.

Konnichiwa, the newest restaurant, serves Japanese sushi, steak, hibachi rice bowl, bento box, special ramen soup, homemade curry, seafood, and many other dishes.

The Japanese restaurant operates daily from Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The restaurant’s Greenville location is not their first in the Upstate. They also operate a branch in Boiling Springs.

“Konnichiwa,” pronounced “kon-nee-chee-wah,” is a Japanese greeting used from midday to early evening that also serves as a casual “hello.”
